Identity
Broken up into four pillars, Identity is a piece resembling the experience of the Non-Binary individual and gender dysphoria.
Highlighting the relationships between family, body, society, and mind, I cherish this work, as it represents the struggles of my own and others' experiences with gender. Identity is based on a social narrative. The piece you see before you displays my experience, the best representation of myself in this time and space; as well as just as importantly, the technical skill I have learned over the past four years. It exhibits the constant onlooking of “society’s eyes”; the incessant emotion of never being seen for your true Identity. |
